    Default Diagram Sharing

OK, so i'll be the first brave one to post...

Well, dgm extensions were invalid for this forum. I'll try to copy and paste them to a word document or something like that.

I sent a message to the BW guys to see if this can be changed...

    Default on second thought...

there's a 19.5 kb max capacity for uploading documents and each of the 3 i was going to post were in the 23-27kb range. I could fit 2 of them in a winzip file. I did Gal 3:13-14 a while ago and would probably make a few changes to it.

    Default try again

Try posting you actual dgm files again. I think they corrected it so the forum will now accept them.

Default Propositional/Syntactical Displays with the Diagrammer

    Hello,

I use the Diagrammer extensively for what Walt Kaiser calls Propositional Displays, although I prefer to call them syntactical displays.

Here are a couple I've done, the one on Heb. 10:19-25 is part of my Greek II final exam.

    Question Diagramming newbie

Would anyone like to help me learn diagramming, please?
I would like to make a diagram that makes sense to me, for 2 Corinthians 4:5

    Ouv ga.r e`autou.j khru,ssomen
    avlla. VIhsou/n Cristo.n ku,rion(
    e`autou.j de. dou,louj u`mw/n dia. VIhsou/n
The information in the manual and all the symbols are daunting to me.
Are there simple ways of doing this?
I think you should be able to show the contrast between
the e`autou.j in the first clause and its use at the end.

    Default Hebrew diagram

I am often asked by folks who want to see an example of a diagram of a Hebrew passage. Does anyone have an example or two they would be willing to share? It would be good to see several different possible applications of the diagrammer to Hebrew exegesis.

    Hello David,

Two exellent resources to learn Greek diagramming are Gordon Fee's New Testament Exegesis (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=books)

    and

Biblical Greek Exegesis by George Guthrie (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...64620?v=glance)

    Hope this helps!

I have regularly referred to them in the past.
