    Wink a new translation?

I know this will mark me as a mere youth for even suggesting this (even as a joke), but is there any interest in compiling a LOLCat version of the Bible as a user-add on?

It is mildly amusing, occasionally offensive, but sometimes rather insightful in its interpretation of verses. It's found here. Oh and if you don't know what LOLCats are, please don't even bother going to the link, it will only be a waste of your time. There, you've been warned.

now i'm not saying they got everything right in that translation, but it's at least close to something like The Message isn't it?

The potential for this translation is staggering. I'm seriously glassy-and-pie-eyed right now. My heart needs to retardo-thumpification and my imagination reentero-realitido.

Actually, I don't see any material difference between LOLCat and the ESV, NIV, NAU, et cetera.

    Default Oh. My. Gosh.

    John 1:1ff. is... is... is....
In teh beginz is teh mew, and teh mew sez "Oh hai Ceiling Cat" and teh mew iz teh Ceiling Cat
That's contextualizing gone barking mad. (Or... yowling mad.)

I just ordered a leather bound red-letter edition.

I'm going read the verses that coincide with power point slides pulled from The Brick Testament

FWIW, I'll be laughing the rest of the night every time I think of this beauty ...

Don't forget the KLV Klingon Language Version It's a Klingon translation from the World English Bible.
A more authoritative version is in the works at: Klingon Bible Translation Project
So far it looks like only the gospel of mark is translated from the Greek.
