Microsoft Word and BW

Hello,

I'm pasting Hebrew Unicode from BW into a Word 2007 document. Here's the behavior (note: abc = English; zyx = Hebrew):

ACTUAL (when pasted): abc abc abc zyx1 zyx2 zyx3 abc abc abc
SHOULD BE: abc abc abc zyx3 zyx2 zyx1 abc abc abc

Although the individual Hebrew words pasted read correctly, the total Hebrew text string is reversed.

I can only force the Hebrew string to be ordered correctly by changing the Paragraph radio button to 'Right-to-left' -- but, this changes the entire paragraph, English and Hebrew, thus making a mess out of everything.

If anyone has figured out how to paste short strings of BW Hebrew Unicode into a Word document, I'd be most appreciative.

Thank you very much. I read this thread previously, but it just didn't click.

I've had some success; however, it is sure clunky. Now, if I can just get the Word styles to format it with the font that I want ...!! (Sure wish that it was as simple as Copy/Paste and and automatically get the desired font.)

With BW, the best work around to paste short Hebrew Unicode text strings into Word that I've found is to:
1) copy Hebrew Unicode to BW Editor window
2) in the BW editor, select all of the text copied
3) click the button to apply the default Unicode font (you set this in the options window)
4) copy the desired text, which is now correctly formatted, and finally
5) paste it into Word

Wonder why the trouble seems to be with BW and not the 'other' application?

I don't know all the ins and outs, but part of it would be because BW internally uses its own fonts (BWGrkl and BWhebb) rather than Unicode and it was only w BW7 that the Unicode exporting was added (though internally it still uses its legacy fonts that aren't Unicode).
