Thread: Turabian Citation

  1. #1

    Default Turabian Citation

Does anyone have the proper format for citing BibleWorks in Turabian? Specifically, I need to cite BDAG and I don't have a paper copy, just the BibleWorks (praise and huzzahs to them) version.

    Thanks!

The BDAG title page info is available by opening the Lexicon Browser from the Resources menu, selecting BDAG, then select Title Page in the dropdown box in the upper left corner of the Lexicon Browser window.

Here are the biblbiography and footnote entries for BDAG in Turabian 7th edition format. Of course, you may need to tweak the info to conform to your seminary/university's requirements, and for consistency with your other source citations.

(As a word of warning, many professors won't accept this source since there is no page number. They will say that you need to consult the printed edition. Hopefully that will change some day. Turabian does say to cite the source you actually use.)
