    Default stuck search limit

I want to disregard a search limit previously set. The problem is that when I check the radial button to "not apply any limits to the search" it goes back to a previously set limit once I try a new search. Any advice? Thank you.

Go to the command line and type "l" <enter> (that's an "L") without the quotes. That should reset your search limits to global.

The behavior you're experiencing I think is a bug. I have tried the same thing using the dialog box instead of the command line. Actually, what is happening is the that the yellow box is not disappearing, but the search limits are in fact reset. In any case, this appears to be a bug.

The command line example works fine on my system.
