Default Nova Vulgata is now available

The Nova Vulgata is now available! The Nova Vulgata is the official Latin version of the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church has declared that the Nova Vulgata is "an auxilliary tool . . . to maintain the tradition of interpretation that is proper to the Latin Liturgy."

So, given the numerous mistakes, why don't we just wait for the corrected file(s) before we update?

    Default Copyright info

    Thanks for making this available.

Does anyone know what the copyright info is so I can reference it? (on that note, is the copyright section of the Bibleworks help file ever updated when new databases are added? As it doesn't appear to have happened for NOV).

Also, does anyone know of an English translation of it? (none are listed at MGVH's http://bibleandtech.blogspot.com/200...ting-with.html)

The copyright info for it is given in the Analysis window (Word Analysis tab) if you put your mouse over the NOV version ID in the Browse window:

That still might be incomplete for your needs, but that's at least as much as is accessible within BW.

On number 2, I don't believe there is or ever will be a translation of the Nova Vulgata unless someone set about to do this for his or her own benefit. It is meant for using the Latin Scripture in services that still wish to use Latin, but is not meant as a "critical" text, and so would likely not get the attention a translation into English would require. See Link. (but this is just my assumption from that statement).
