Default User-Created Manuscript Databases & Vista

I recently purchased a new laptop which inevitably had MS Vista (Business) O/S. The weird thing is that some user-created manuscript databases found here: http://bibleworks.oldinthenew.org/files.html work and others cause BW7 on Vista to crash. Codices Aleppo and Alexandrinus work fine. However, if some of the others, (Vaticanus, Sinaiticus, etc) are copied to the databases folder, BW7 crashes. This is not happening with BW7 on XP Pro. Does anyone have a solution?

I don't run Vista so I'm no help there. It definitely is odd that some of them work but others don't. I would think none of them would or all of them would. Sorry for the bad luck

    Default Possible help

Following is a response to a problem I had with modules. I don't recall if my Bibleworks was crashing (I am running Vista as well), but I couldn't get the modules to work. Maybe this will help.

I thought of a couple things you might try.
    1) Find the vaticanus.chm file in your BW databases directory. Right click on it, select Properties and, if not already so marked, Unblock/Unlock the file in order to use it.
    2) Is your vaticanus.chm file about 56,014Kb? Is there an accompanying vattischendorf.chm at 62.301Kb? If not, try downloading again, and unzipping and overwriting the current files.

    Hope it helps...
