    [removed due to copyright issues]

    ____________________________________________

Downloading: If you are not familiar with free file hosting services, you need to wait about 30-60 seconds before receiving a downloading ticket which will then allow you to click to another page where you can download the actual file for free. You do *not* have to purchase the premium file service to download this file. See posts #3 and #4 of this thread for more details.

Installation: Just open the file and click install. That's it.

File Size: This update is considerably larger than the previous installers. This installer itself is a 95MB download, but once installed, the files will take up approximately 413MB. Please verify that you have enough hard drive space for it.

BibleWorks 6 Users: This installer is configured for BibleWorks 7 users by default and extracts its files to the folder C:\Program Files\BibleWorks 7. For BibleWorks 6 users, you must change the installation directory to C:\Program Files\BibleWorks 6 at the startup prompt.

East Asian Languages: Because of the 100MB upload limit on the file servers, this version of the Master List Installer does *not* include the East Asian Language Bibles (Korean, Chinese, Japanese). However, they may be downloaded in a separate installer here:

    http://www.bibleworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1647

Other Notes: Also, for the more experienced BibleWorks user, you may also open this file with any Compression Utility out there (WinZip, WinRAR, WinAce, etc.) to extract the ddf/txt/vmf files manually.

Uninstallation: The uninstaller for the (07/04/06) Master List Update Pack may be downloaded at either of these links:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SIE0MSYN

    http://rapidshare.de/files/25073899/...aller.exe.html

This will remove ALL of the installed resources mentioned in the (07/04/06) Master List.

    Thanks,

    Robin

    Robin,
Thanks for doing this. I need help, though. I could only click on the first link you provided and that took me to a page, which I stared at for several minutes (not just 30-60 seconds) and found no way to even access the BibleWorks files. I did see:
    Filename: BW7.User.Addons.06.24.06.exe

Do I need to login? I cannot find a "browse" button to click. Or a button to hit to get to see the files themselves, let alone download them. I have dial up; is that problematic? Any further instructions would be appreciated. Thanks, Joan

Default Instructions for downloading from MEGAUPLOAD

Megaupload instructions: For megaupload, you need to enter a three-character access code near the top-right corner of the page and click on the DOWNLOAD button to the right of it (see attached image below).

After that, you should be taken to a page that will enable you to download the file after about 45 seconds (you should see a timer counting down on this page). When about 10-15 seconds are left on this timer, an annoying orange advertisement will appear out of nowhere, sometimes covering the download button. Just close this advertisement when it appears and then click the button that says "Click here to download".

Sometimes the download page will get messed up and you'll get a page that asks you to enter another three-character code. Keep trying until you get to the page and you'll eventually get the file.

    Blessings,

    Robin

Default Instructions for downloading from RAPIDSHARE

Rapidshare instructions: For rapidshare, click the "Free" button located near the bottom-right corner of the first page.

After that, you should be taken to a page that will enable you to download the file after about 40-45 seconds (you should see a timer counting down on this page). After the timer has counted down, you'll see a colourful box with three characters drawn in it (see attached image below). Type in those three characters into the blank box next to it and then click on the box that says "Download from *location*".

Sometimes the download page will state that you've downloaded too much from rapidshare already and will need to wait 5 to 60 minutes before you can download again. You can either wait it out or use the MegaUpload link.

    Blessings,

    Robin

    Default Master List (06-24-06) Images

Here are some images of what the Master List will look like when installed.
This is assuming that you only have the default ENGLISH, GREEK and HEBREW languages installed. If you install the other languages, your list would of course be much larger.

update: These are old images taken on a high-res display setting. The new installer (07/04/06) takes up about 5 screens on a 1024x768 monitor.

Default Master List (06-24-06) without the East Asian Languages

I figure that most of you won't really be using the East Asian Language pack, so I'm also uploading the Master List (06-24-06) Installer without East Asian Bibles.

Once again, here are the links (updated to 07/06/06):

    [removed due to copyright issues]

Downloading: If you are not familiar with free file hosting services, you need to wait about 30-60 seconds before receiving a downloading ticket which will then allow you to click to another page where you can download the actual file for free. Default Update Pack

Thank you all for the suggestions. I'm currently working on the next update.
I will try to implement all of the suggestions in it. Here is what will be changed already:
    - remove MSG (Message Bible, The (2002))
    - rename CAB (Complete Apostles' Bible) to ABC (Apostles' Bible Complete)
    - remove ETH (Etheridge Peshitta NT Translation (1849))
    - remove LEW (Lewis Peshitta NT Translation (1896))
    - remove MGI (Magiera Peshitta NT Translation (2006))
    - remove NOR (Norton Peshitta NT Translation (1851))

Please let me know if this sounds right to everyone. The next update will hopefully have the following bible versions:
    - 20T Twentieth Century New Testament
    - ACV A Conservative Version
    - AKJ American King James Version
    - BWE Bible In Worldwide English NT
    - COM The Common Edition: New Testament
    - EMB Emphasized Bible (Rotherham)
    - J2K English Jubilee 2000 Bible
    - LIO Living Oracles NT
    - MNT Montgomery New Testament
    - OJB Orthodox Jewish Brit Chadasha, The
    - RKN Revised King James New Testament
    - RNK Restored Name King James Version
    - TYN William Tyndale Bible (1525/1530)
    - WEV World English Bible
    - WYC John Wycliffe Bible (1395)
    - NCV New Chinese Version (Simplified)
    - NC5 New Chinese Version (Traditional)

As for now, I found a few new obstacles in this project that I have not yet been able to overcome; this project may either take off really quickly (like the other 12 Bibles which I was able to convert in one night) or it may take some time to finish. Please pray for me that I can find a way to get these out to you all.

This is really only a little hobby of mine and I am really busy (probably like most of you) with several other ministries that I'm trying to juggle right now.

    Blessings to you all!

    Robin
p.s. If you can post some feedback on the Bibles I'm working on, I'd appreciate it (e.g. redundant Bibles, redundant abbreviations, etc.)
p.p.s Mark, I would suggest that you post your file(s) for download on the forum here -- that way everyone will be able to get them now and I'll be sure to include it in this next update. Right now, there's no telling how long this update will take. Thanks for everything!

I know this is more personal preference than anything, but I checked out your files. Instead of lumping all of the Bible versions in the \userdb\ directory, I put them all in subfolders according to their three letter abbreviation. This makes things a little more tidy, esp when numerous files have with them readme.txt files. I would request that you do this at least for the databases I provided because the readme.txt files do include copyright and such information in them that credit other sources for the files.

Also a number of the Bible versions made by myself and others include a ???.bww file which you should have the installer put in the database directory because BW uses it to give Version ID info.
