I would like to create a database that is a combination of SCR and LXT (similar to the BGT) and the corresponding morpology versions. Is that possible with the compiler?
Thanks,
Chris

Yes. Export both databases to a .txt file, combine them into the same .txt file (renaming of course), then compile them into the new version.Originally Posted by Chris Evarts
If you're not sure how to do this, you can consult the help file on exporting databases and user created databases where both functions are explained.
I've just actually compiled both LXT and SCR into a new version, SGT. It came off without a hitch.
I can make this file available to Michael or whoever so they can post if they like.
Thanks for the quick response! It will be my first go at trying to compile a database. I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks for this from another user. But I need help.
Following the instructions I created a user db EZB that was the Ezekiel portion of BGT (LXT) so that I could then edit it to conform to Codex Vaticanus. I also created EZM similarly from BGM, and thought that in exporting the database I had linked them. However, the EZB lacks the automatic parsing, lexical entry facility, and ability to search on a lemma. I can search on the lemma in EZM but it would be much easier if I had the faciltiy in EZB. Can this be done?
Thanks,
John
