Hello again. My title really says it all. I would like to see different parts of the bible highlighted in various pre defined colors whenever I perform a search. (I have been reading a lot about...
Thank you so much!
It's been a while since I've had to use the WLM! :p
John
Hi. :) I was wondering if there was a way to find all words within a specified range using the gse or a similar method. For instance, all the words that are found in both Psalms 1 and 2.
Thanks...
No I wasn't aware! I would much rather support Bw's than Logos (for a number of reasons!) Thanks! :)
Right now the one I use the most is the NIDNTT.
Other than that: I use some of their N.T. commentaries from time to time to gain additional perspective depending on what book I am currently...
Hmmm. Although undoubtedly the Pradis link works :) it seems that there is no way as of yet to sync (or to jump) between BW & Pradis, (i.e. to have pradis open to any one partucluar spot. This is...
Wow! Finally someone has done it!:D
I am so happy to have started this thread.
In repsonse to the first reply to ISalzman:
Yes, pretty much! I use BW's first (like you do) to consut the...
:)Hi. Has anyone been able to successfully link BW to either Pradis or Rick Meyers "E sword"? Just wondering.
John
:)Thank you very much. Writing script is far beyond my abilities as well... maybe someone else will in time! It would be a neat feature, I think.
John
Thanks for all your support! After posting I found the linux thread...
Thanks again!
:)
John
Howdy,
I recently added a Linux OS to my hard drive.
I was wondering weather anyone has tried to run BW on a Linux platform successfully (perhaps using a windows converter) and if so, which...
Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for. :D
By the way... it is kind of funny that I was just browsing your web blog when I noticed someone had replied to my thread... while...
Hi. I recently was curious to find the 9 times when the Hebrew word Shamar (08104) was not translated as one of the following words: [keep, observe, heed, keeper, preserve, beware, mark, watchman,...
Thank you Mark Eddy! I just now had the chance to open you attached query, it is exactly what I needed. Thank you to all that helped in this matter.
Sincerely,
John
Right. That is why I tried using the Strong's number for hesed instead of the the lemma "dsx" in the WTT.
It just seems very painful to go through each verse when there are so many hits (over 200).
Hello once again. I still am having a hard time obtaining results for my initial query. I would like to find all instances of the Hebrew word hesed (Strong's #02617) and not eleoj (eleos) or...
I did that... the problem for me is once a search i.e. .444 is entered and then open the detailed statistics window a message will pop up (after pressing down the arrow key in your keyboard to...
Hi once again!
I seem to be stuck as to how to search for a specific word using Strong's#'s with the results displaying total number of hits on the selected word rather than the number of different...
Great! Thanks so much!
I tried that but I seem to get unwanted variables...
Is there no way to use the GSE? Perhaps it would be better to search on the form instead of the lemma which I don't think you can do in the...
Hi. I am trying to search for all occurrences of the particular hebrew lemma "hesed" and it's greek counterparts in the LXX other than the words "eleos" and "dikaiosunh". In other words, how would...
Just in case anybody was wondering (and who may not have access to another version of the TWOT)
#636.0 the word is severe, not evere!
John Mark
Thank you! That is great! By the way... the hamburger looks good too! :)
Hello my friends! I have another question. I don't think my eyes were playing tricks on me either... Here it is:
When I opened a second BW7 on my computer (I was trying to study two different...
Thank you so much... this really helps my study!
It was that second merge box that I was missing that was throwing my searches way off...
Much obliged for your time.
Sincerely,
John Mark
