i have been struggling with BW8 CHM files since day one(font size primarily, but also in-compatibility w/ Chines locale) ... until recently that i find a CHM viewer which looks promising...

did you try PHRASE search ?
in the command line, type: '*@rpg* *3 <8.1-77>
then you should get 150+ hits in NT ....

Thanks for the info. But my deficiency, due to lack of Aramaic training, is that I don't know whether פשׁר is Hebrew or Aramaic .... so the "Arm. loanword ..." in HALOT really helps --- as it cues me...

i think you are right -- Hebrew and Aramaic should not be confused ... and HALOT does provide the clue (Holladay seems to be silent in this case, though)

but when I try to search it in WTM(w/o search limit), BW returns with only one hit(Ecc 8:1)

I download the update in BW8 with "check for update", but ESNT.chm under \databases remains unchanged(both file size and date).
and then I look at the html of few pages in ESNT.chm and find...
