Does anybody have any OT texts/Bibles that they would like to contribute to the Bibleworks user-database?
Another great resource besides the Dead Sea Scrolls would be the Gottingen Septuagint. If this could be added to Bibleworks too this would be great seeing as Logos and Accordance has this (maybe...
Yes, that would be great, but Old Testament is my specialty, would you mind doing the Old Testament too, please, or is that not accessible to you?:)
Hello Pasquale,
The Gutenberg I only have in pdf, it is an original scanned complete copy from 1455 including OT, Apocrypha, and NT. I got it from the Harry Ransom center in Texas (a school). It...
I believe I have most of these Ἀδελφός, though I may not have the two dictionaries mentioned. Currently I use about 8 different Bible softwares, have over 500 Bibles in electronic format (some rare...
Ok do you have any non-Hebrew Old Testament items to add (in Greek or Latin, since I know Greek best, Latin second... or in English)?
I am also curious, Mr. Hanel, I noticed that you have been adding very helpful resources to the Bibleworks user-created modules and was wondering if you may have anything new to contribute Old...
Ok Mr. Weaver, I sent you an e-mail, if you do not receive it let me know and I will send it again.
I also have a pdf of the samaritan pentateuch, how can i attach it Glenn, its too big? I wanted you to see if anything can be done with it.
Dear Glenn,
The following website has the Peshitta Old Testament available in electronic format: www.hum.leiden.edu/religion/research/peshitta-institute/
it can also be found at:...
OK, whoever would like the Dead Sea Scrolls in Hebrew please reply to this blog, with enough people I will inform Bibleworks.
This seems logical, but if they can the Targums, then at least maybe the Peshitta OT. Thanks for your comments Mr. Hanel, anybody else?
Bibleworks say that they focus on Original language text, but I believe that is partially true. For one, yes they do, in the sense of New Testament resources... but, no they don't in the sense of OT...
Yes, but as I specifically said, "in the original language," not in english.
I think it would be nice to have the Dead Sea Scrols available for Bibleworks in the original Hebrew/Aramaic/Greek seeing as they are published for Logos and Accordance. Plus with all the money I...

The new Septuagint part of my Bible edition is now officially finished and is ready for the press, just need to get it copyrighted and then I am hoping to make it available for Bibleworks (for a...
Thanks, another point bkMitchell to show that I believe that the Jews took out parts of the canon can be seen in Daniel. In 1894 the Song of the Three Jews (between Dan.3:23-24) was found in Aramaic,...
"POST SCRIPT:
I am curious if you think that some group or sect of Jews took the letter out of the Hebrew text, do you believe any other changes were made to the Hebrew text family?"
Yes, I...
" But, Shane is it honest to make a translation to as you say conform to the Hebrew and then include a letter not found in the Hebrew text?"
I include it because I believe it is inspired, I also...
"If, your point is to make a new translation, from the Massoretic text, then it is probably better to ignore the reading found in the LXX."
thanks, but are you saying (since I want to keep these...
To bkMitchell:
Look at Jos. Ant. Book XI:281 (Chapter E in Catholic/Orthodox Bibles) and compare it to XI:219 (Chapter B in Catholic Bibles), then compare it to Est. 3:13, 8:12, and 9:1; does not...
I understand that in Susa the Jews faught on the 13th and 14th and celebrated on the 15th, but does B:6 specifically contradict 3:13 (as it follows 3:13)?
3:13 reads: And the letters were sent by...
In Esther 3:13 the Hebrew text states that the lot fell on the month of Adar, the 13th day, but in Esther B:6 it states in the letter that the date is on the 14th of Adar. I am aware that in chapter...
