Simply smart and terrific, Don ! I would have never been able to do this on my own, as I still don't understand the deeper meaning of subqueries (although I'm a BibleWorker since over 10 years).

Thank you, Michael ! That works indeed fine - a good hint. But I still can't realize that the GSE-Query should exclude verses with an def. article before the first noun. I get Mat 13,38 as hits: ὁ δὲ...
Dear Donald, thank you for this hint ! One question is still remaining: why is such a query not possible with my GSE-Query? I'd prefer this solution as I want to add further copula verbs as MENW,...
Dear Michael, my search was in Robinson-Pierpont 2005 (BYM), that's why the difference. Luk 6,5 has a different reading.

Dear Michael, my search was in Robinson-Pierpont 2005 (BYM), that's why the difference. Do you - by chance - know, why my initial query hasn't been successful ?

Dear Don,
thank you for asking ! One verse missing would be Luke 6,4: Κύριός ἐστιν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου
Here we have an anartrous Noun, a conectinng verb, and a noun preceeded by an article. That's...
Dear Don and Mark,
thank you indeed ! That helps - one problem is left: There are many verses with this construction that the queries doesn't find. Maybe it's possible to have it kind of exacter....
Dear Mark,
thank you for your help ! I just tried your suggestion. Do you know why John 1,1 doesn't appear with it ? My intention is to find instances like this verse.

Dear Friends,
I want to search for constructions as in Joh 1,1 QEOS HN hO LOGOS.
But why does my query show verses with the definite article (e.g. 1Cor 3,13 or Rev 18,23) before the first...
Dear Eriberto,
I had the same problem but a friend somehow was able to download kennicott succesfully - I could give you permission to my dropbox, if you'd whish. I just would need your...
Great question ! I'd like to see the morphological tagged OT Peschitta (available in the internet already) and an update of the CNTTS apparatus, with more features and more manuscripts. This...
Make sure to visit Charles' website: www.animatedhebrew.com - terrific !

Dear Friends and Developers of BW,
I think two improvements for the CNTTS Apparatus would be beneficial for us users:
- A save and load feature for the search results
- a speed improvement when...
Yes, that helps, Jim - it would be nice if you could help others regularly here ! I've learned a lot ....

Dear Friends, dear Jim,
I just followed each step, Jim, you provided (thank you for the pictures as well) and it works ! That's more than I expected. Thank you, Jim, so much !!! One question...
Dear Michael,
I'll check this out tomorrow, when I'm back in office and able to work with BW. Maybe that's the right direction.
Thank you so far for your help - further help is very welcome !...
Dear Michael,
thank you for your answer - but I couldn't find the special query I want to do in the help file.
I'd be happy to get help, as I can't proceed and I need the results for my research......
Dear BW-Friends,
how can I find all passages where the Codex Sinaiticus and Vaticanus differ ?
I hope somebody of you has done such a query and can help me...

Friends, fortunately I've found the Peshitta Old Testament Text according to the Leiden critical edition on the internet - there is also a lexicon included. Please see: http://cal1.cn.huc.edu/

Dear Mark,
thank you ! That seems to be a lot of work. So it's not possible to include this text in BibleWorks right as it is?
Yours in Christ !

Dear Friends,
as I wanted to have a Peshitta text with vowels, I tried to prepare and install the text of this website: http://dukhrana.com/peshitta/index.php
Matthew 1:1 reads: kəṯāḇā...
Dear David,
you'd need the Peshitta Add-on for BibleWorks, which is provided for only some bucks. Besides the supreme Syriac lexicon, there is a morphologial tagged version of the Peshitta NT...
Thanks, David ! Magiera is ok so far and some minor errors occur everywhere. I like the Syriac-English lexicon, which BibleWorks provides, although I've detected some minor errors as well. But it's...
Dear Friends,
I was just reading the Peshitta Module at John 4,21 and compared the Magiera translation with it - but the Verb ܬܣܓܕܘܢ
is Peal, Imperfect 2 Pers. mask. Plural and not 3.Pers. mask....
A good idea anyway ! I'm looking forward to the next Upgrade and I hope there is more good stuff to come....My personal favourite is the Peshitta of the Old Testament.
