Thank you, Jim!
Hm; not a widespread issue, I'm guessing.
On my PC, each time I open BW9 I get the message that two db's are not activated. I go to the db listing, and all show as activated. I use the activate all by internet option and, of course, nothing...
Thanks, Doc. I read that, and will look into Copy.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to add a home pc to Sugarsync, particularly to sync BW Notes files -- and it's saying that it can't because it has system...
Dan Phillips recommends Copy? Well, then!
Thanks for all that, Mark!
I've been using and loving SugarSync's free service, thanks to the recommendation of someone here. But starting next year, they're charging for everything.
Anyone have a good, simple,...
Of course I have 9; it's my must-have SW!
Thanks very much. I saw that note in today's update and wondered if it was in response to my post. You fixed it! That's been a problem for a long time in...
For instance, go to Prov. 23:24 with its eight bracketed/parenthesized words, and copy it into your Notes. You'll see the brackets and parens go every which way AND loose.
Anyone know a way to...
Mm, so that's harder. I think I started with 4, but not certain.
Well, since they said BibeWorks and not BibleWorks, maybe we're okay.
I was replying to Michael, hadn't seen yours yet, Glenn. And thank you. I could swear something I read made me think it was the morphology help option that activated the buttons.
No sir, actual buttons that give control characters such as asterisk, slash, etc. I saw it in a Help file when I was trying to figure this out for myself, but now of course I can't relocate it to...
You are scary-good, Hanel. Thanks! That did the trick.
Any thoughts on why the buttons are missing?
I'm wondering if I just have a corrupt BW configuration. When I'm in BGT and try to do a wildcard search (asterisk, *), I get a semicolon instead of an asterisk, whether at start or end of word.
I've worked and worked at this, and finally (feel like I) came up with a concise way of comparing and contrasting Logos and BW.
First, "loosing" what? The Kraken? You left off the direct object.
Second, this criticism is so wildly off-base that I seriously wonder whether you've actually used BW9 more than a minute -- or...
Mike Bushell is... The Crypt-Keeper!
Thanks very much; that's the NT, but lacks the OT. I wonder if it's the same ver of NT as in Logos now?
Off the top of my cranium:
1. Formatted text that includes line-breaks in poetry -- or the option to have same.
2. Versions: Lexham and Modern Language Bible. The latter was a worthy translation,...
Beggars can't be choosers. Idiots, either.
So you brainiacs let me know when there's a file ready for idiots, with accompanying idiot-instructions, to put into BW.
Thanks. I had the latest ver (compulsive checker), and tried two different profiles.
But at Glenn W's suggn, I held down Shift, selected to delete copy options, and ka-zang, it's fixed.
I just did a lemma search on וְהִתְעַנַּ֥ג in Psa. 37:4, and this is how the list came up:
הָאִישׁ֙ הָרַ֣ךְ בְּךָ֔ וְהֶעָנֹ֖ג מְאֹ֑ד תֵּרַ֙ע עֵינ֤וֹ בְאָחִיו֙ וּבְאֵ֣שֶׁת חֵיק֔וֹ 45:82...
Still no Lexham Bible in BW.
Looks like it would be easy enough for BW to acquire, if I'm reading this right.
'Tain't perfect, but any non-cultic translation that doesn't secret-code "Yahweh"...
