Two training workshops will take place February 8 at the Moore Theological College which are open to all BibleWorks users in the region.
Please pass this information on to anyone who might be interested in either of these workshops. We have contact information for only a fraction of our users so we're dependent on word of mouth to let people know of these opportunities.

Format:
The Essentials workshop will be designed to accommodate users of any version of BibleWorks but the instructor will do all teaching in both workshops from BibleWorks 7. Most of the material in the Essentials Workshop will apply to all other versions of BibleWorks, however, the Intermediate Workshop will spend a considerable amount of time discussing tools unique to BibleWorks 7. You are not required to own BibleWorks 7 to attend the Intermediate Workshop but we recommend users of earlier versions attend only the Essentials Workshop.

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop with BibleWorks installed. Each workshop will include several short hands-on exercises to give you an opportunity to practice what you learn. A laptop, however, is not required to attend either workshop.

Instructor:
BibleWorks Regional Trainer Joe Fleener will teach this workshop. Joe and his family live in Hastings, New Zealand (since September 2006) where Joe serves as the Director of Distance Learning/Library Director for The Shepherd's Bible College. Joe also serves as the Library and Information Technology Coordinator for The Master's Academy International. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary and is in the thesis stage for his Master of Theology at the same institution. Prior to and during his days as an M.Div. student, Joe worked as a Systems Engineer in the Consulting and Defense Contracting Industries in the US. Joe is greatly blessed with a wonderful wife and three very special children. He considers any opportunity to help men and women better study and understand God's Word an awesome privilege.

Sorry to miss Sydney workshops
Unfortunately I only purchased BW7 after February 8th so am keen to catch the next one that is nearby. Are workshops held in Sydney on an annual basis? Though you said you only have user details for a fraction of users, would you usually notify all those registered with you as living in NSW or ACT in Australia about workshops held in Sydney? Is there a list somewhere that I should put my name on to be notified?
