Although the administrators and moderators of BibleWorks User Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of BibleWorks User Forums, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

The owners of BibleWorks User Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

BibleWorks is a powerful and complex program. It takes time to learn to use effectively. More experienced users can share tips with newer users, and those who are interested in buying the software can ask questions of people who own and use the software. The goal is for all of us to use BW to its full potential. Other uses of the forum include sharing *.qf query files, *.BWW note files, reference lists, and other BibleWorks-specific study aids.

The forums exist to help BibleWorks users. For this reason, we encourage discussion, with only two restrictions:

1) Posts must be respectful to the other forum visitors. "Flames" directed at subscribers for no other reason than theological affiliation (i.e. Lutheran bashing, Catholic bashing, Reformed bashing, Liberal bashing, etc.) will not be tolerated. Discussion is allowed and encouraged; invective and railing is prohibited.

2) Posts must be on-topic. Please take off-topic discussion to the "non-BibleWorks discussion" forum. Moderators will move off-topic threads to this forum. The BibleWorks Forums are not the principal avenue for submitting difficulty reports or requests for technical assistance. If the BibleWorks Forums Administrator determines a Forums post contains only material that should have been instead submitted to BibleWorks Customer Support, he may at his discretion notify the poster that his post has been removed from the Forums and forwarded to BibleWorks Customer Support. This action, when necessary, will reduce the amount of clutter in the Forums and allow the Forum to be more efficiently used for bona fide Forums business.

If the author of inappropriate posts persists in making further inappropriate posts, that person will be suspended. Please help us make the forums a community for useful and respectful discussion.

The BibleWorks electronic discussion community has been around for several years now. This community of BibleWorks users has always been one of mutual help and respect. I think you will enjoy your time with us!
