Hello all,

Does anyone have the TNIV formatted for BibleWorks and if you do, would you allow me to have a copy of the file so that I can import it using the Version Database Compiler. I am aware that I would be responsible for obtaining copyright clearance.

I contacted the help-staff here at BW and they suggested that I proceed in this fashion.

Any help or suggestions you might be able to offer would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sounds like a great idea, Kevin.
I eagerly await a version being available in BW7, or earlier!

I'd love to be able to compare it with the NIV, as I can now compare the NLT with NLT2.

Is the NLT 2 in BW format? That would rock - I'm looking forward to the TNIV as well.

G'day
The NLT2 is the NLT you get in BW6.

...The NLT2 is the NLT you get in BW6...Note that you only get the NLT2, once you've run the updater with all of the updates. If you want to keep the old NLT, you will need to export it before you update, and then recompile it with a different version name. See the NLT update thread, and the resulting discussion here (http://www.bibleworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=640).

David McKay,

I tried to follow the thread on exporting and then recompiling the NLT1 so that I can compare it to NLT2. My head was spinning after I read through the thread. Is there an easy way to do this or is it pretty complicated? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me at niphek65-bibleworks@yahoo.com.

Thanks,

Kevin
