I mainly use the TNIV.

Was I sposed to go to a poll somewhere?

I prefer the New Revised Standard Version overall as the best, with TANACH-New JPS version for the Hebrew Bible. Also like the Revised English Bible, New American Bible, and the New Jerusalem Bible.

It's funny, I was telling my wife today that when I compare my own translation to an English translation, I use the ESV and the NASB primarily, and lo and behold, those are the two most popular here. Fun times. :)

(I use the NASB primarily when I read)

I agree! If the good ole King Jimmy was good enough for Paul and Silas, it's good enough fer me!!! :D

Truthfully, I use the Authorized Version because it's based on the superior Greek text. I don't have too many complaints against the NKJV, but I still consider the KJV to be the best English translation of the best Greek text.
