My question is, if i have the synopsis tool in bibleworks, with the gospel synopsis, is there any reason to purchase the nestle aland gospel synopsis greek/english?

You probably need it if you want to do comparisons. Kurt Aland's synopsis helps you to compare the texts, BW only guides you to same passages. I bought it although I have BW and it was needed.

Yes, by all means. This is a great example of Mike Bushell's dictum that electronic versions of books should not replace printed ones. There are several features of the printed synopsis that make it worthwhile to have:
proper alignment of parallel passages with intervening space as necessary
index to gospel passages which allows you to see at a glance the flow of the pericopes in a particular gospel
leading and following pericopes indicated for each parallel
different typefaces to indicate primary or secondary parallels
expanded textual apparatus
Greek only version has extensive Patristic citations
I have BW and Libronix, and neither of them have features which duplicate anything like these.
