Popup gloss and definitions: disable-able?

I notice that one of the new features in BW 6 is the "popup gloss and definitions" mini-window, but I'm not sure if I want that feature (given that the auto-info window already seems to meet that need). Is this a feature that can be disabled?

Go to tools - options - option strings

Near the bottom of that screen you will see the options to configure the Word Tips.

I should have explained: I haven't yet purchased version 6, I'm still weighing my options, and this is one question that came to mind as I do so. But I take it from your reply that it IS disable-able. Thanks!
