Hi

In order to backup my settings I want to make a copy of the file BW600.ini (using BW6), as described in this tutorial: http://kb.bibleworksllc.com/kmp/index.php?/article/AA-02767/101/Usage-Tutorial/Program-Settings-after-installation/How-Can-I-Save-My-Personalized-BibleWorks-Settings.html

But I can't find the BW600.ini anywhere. Have been looking in a lot of folders and made several searches.

Installed on Windows 7, 64 bit

BibleWorks runs without problems - I just can't find the file anywhere.

Does anyone have any idea of what to do?

Hello Peter,

Are you sure you're looking for the right file? If you look in the init folder, there is any number of ini files, but they don't begin with the letters bw; e.g., 9.0.009n-bw900lg.ini

At any rate, I think that's where you will find all the ini files.

Hope that can help.

Don, I think those .ini files result from updates to the most current BW version. They are created during the update process, and I think older ones can be deleted. The main BWn00.ini file (n=version number) would not be among those files. I don't remember back to v. 6 specifically, but I would think it should be in the main program folder. Peter, are there any .ini files there? If so, what are they called?
