How can someone find in BibleWorks if a verb is in Qatal, Yiqtol...WaYiqtol, WeQatal...Wayyomer?

This is really easy, but you need to know that BW uses different vocabulary (which reflects diversity in vocabulary used in teaching Hebrew and writing grammars). If you hover your cursor over the Hebrew verb concerned you'll get a pop-up window with the parsing. BW describes these as follows:

Qatal = Perfect
Yiqtol = Imperfect
Wayyiqtol = Waw Consecutive Imperfect
Weqatal = Waw Consecutive Perfect

"Consecutive" is abbreviated "consec".
