A girl with no hands wins a penmanship award, and her parents have adopted six disabled children.

Very impressive. Of course, as schools' emphasis on handwriting continues to go down--I believe some have quit teaching cursive altogether--her competition level is down. Regardless, to overcome a handicap like that shows determination.

Well, considering that my 5th grade teacher sent me to the principal because she thought that I was deliberately writing sloppy, I was quite impressed by her efforts.
By the way, my sloppy handwriting wasn't deliberate, and I still can't write neat now matter how hard I try.
Learning how to type was the best thing I ever did.
(Well, not THE best thing, but you know what I mean).
