View Full Version : Obtaining Page Numbers in BW?

For reference works that exist in both hardcopy and electronic forms (e.g., Harris's TWOT) how would I obtain a page number for readers who want to check one of my citations, but do not have BW?
Thanks, in advance,
For lexicons and Bible dictionaries, instead of page numbers it is fairly standard to provide the entry heading. For example, s.v. πιστεύω. That may not be what you want, but it's an option.

That's what I've been doing. So, if it's pretty standard practice I'm comfortable with it.

In fact, the Chicago Manual of Style recommends s.v. for alphabetically-arranged reference works -- it's actually a rather old-fashioned practice, but worth reviving for electronically stored works.
