I'm not sure if there's some option I haven't selected, but is it possible for the superscript notes on the text to appear in the normal text in the results window?

For instance
NAS Genesis 1:2 And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

Now this should have a superscript by "formless" shouldn't it? When I went to the Help file under "Database Compiler" at the very end of that it lists the complex entry for this text,
Gen 1:2 And the earth <0776> was <N1><Ra>formless <08414> and void <0922>, and <Rb>darkness <02822> was over <05921> the <N2>surface <06440> of the deep <08415>; and <Rc>the Spirit <07307> of God <0430> <Rd>was <N3>moving <07363b> over <05921> the <N2>surface <06440> of the waters <04325>. { (1) Or, [a waste and emptiness] (2) Lit., [face of] (3) Or, [hovering] (a) Jer 4:23 (b) Job 38:9 (c) Psa 104:30; Isa 40:13, Isa 40:14 (d) Deu 32:11; Isa 31:5 }

N= a superscript note. I'm just curious why it doesnt show up as a superscript note in my results window. Is this not an option?

Mike,

On the bottom task bar there is a "tr notes" this needs to be checked for the superscript to appear in the translations that offer this. This will show the numbers. Any notes will appear in the auto info window below the result window when you move your mouse over the text, or if you have so arranged to hold 'shift' down and scroll your mouse over the text. The notes will appear when you do this regardless of the status of the 'tr notes'.

... in addition, you can right-click on the text and select "Show Notes"

You can also click the "Turn version notes on/off" button on the button bar (looks like a musical note).

I knew there was a simple way, I just was having trouble finding it :)

Behold, I show unto you the simplest way ...:)

Click in the Results Window and hit the N key. This toggles the superscripted notes on and off.

Phil that is pretty simple, I'll have to give it a try.

Thanks.

You win, Philip! Can't get any simpler than that....unless you use MindDrive (http://www.cnn.com/TECH/9609/18/mind.drive/index.html)!! ;)
