Hello all,
I have possibly a very easy question. When I right-click on a word and choose search on lemma I only get all the verb-forms or all the noun-forms. How can I do a search whereby I get of a word all the nouns, adverbs, verbs, and eventual adjectives, etc. Which command do I have to give?

Thanks for your help.

Could you provide and example lemma and verse you are trying? This would help.

Well, for instance all the forms of charizoomai but also grace, graceful, accepted, gracious (but from the rootword charin).

Do you know what I mean? Greetings, Wijnand

You cannot do exactly what you are looking for.

Most Lexicons have these words listed as individual lemmas, not as being derived from the same root. Although they seem to be from the same semantic domain and have semantic overlap, they do seem to be different lemmas.

However, since the spelling of these related lemmas are have similarities, you could do something like:

1. Set your search version to BNM

2. search for: cariÁ

I know this is not exactly what you are looking for, but it may help.

Thank you Joe, that will do for the most. Otherwise I get too much hits for words I didn't want to search for. But it's better than nothing.

Can anyone duplicate this anomaly using the command line? I get a whole verse highlighted in the results verse list box rather than just the found words.

d nau net wtt [set display versions]
wtm [set morphology search version]
l gen 2.4-9 [set search limits]
;*@v* [search for verbs]

The results in the list box highlight all of v.5. I've tried scrolling the box, and it still comes back. Running Win98, BW6.0.011j.
Thanks, Greg

Hi, Greg,

Running WinXP, 6.0.011j.

The search highlights only the verbs for me.
