is there a way to see the page number of a lexicon entry in the printed copy?

otherwise, how should we refer to a BW lexicon entry in exegetical papers ?

Thanks,
-Andley.

Andley,

I'm not aware that lexicon page numbers are available in the BibleWorks resources.

The correct format of your citation really depends on the style manual you are required to use. It should provide provide some guidance on the use of electronic resources. If in doubt, you should check with your supervisor.

If it's any use, the following footnote style, which does not require page numbers, is being used to cite BDAG in recent issues of JBL (which is supposed to follow the SBL Handbook of Style, though this pattern isn't documented there).

12 BDAG, s.v. καί 1bζ.

Note that: (a) s.v. (sub verbo) means under the word (in the lexicon) and is a standard SBLHS abbreviation; (b) 1bζ indicates the section and subsections of the entry for καί to which you are referring. (The 12 is supposed to be a superscript footnote number, but I can't type superscripts here.)
