Dear Friends,

a friend of mine and I tried to search for verses in BYM with 4 different words beginning with a pi, that means verses like Heb 1,1.
What is wrong with our Query-File ?
Thank you a lot !

IMHO, try :

1>click on "General --> Lemma"
2>click on "All words disagree with first link" ---- if you you want them to be different words

Dear Andley,
thank you ! I can't run this query succesfully ! I'm sorry. Is there a way to search on 4 words or more in one verse beginning with the same letter? For the letter pi I rearranged my query (see attachment), but I guess there could be a smarter solution.

not sure what kind of 'structure' that you are trying to search ...
could you provide an example(or a verse ref.) to illustrate?

Blessing,

Dear Andley,
my starting point was Heb 1,1 where five words begining with Pi appear and I try to find verses with four or more instances with the same initial letter, e.g. Pi.
Thank you for further help !

Dear Peter,

Try change all 3 Ordering-Boxes from "Between 0 and 5" to "At least 0", and then you will find 2106 hits instead of 608 hits.

Smarter solution ? --- sorry, that's beyond me ....

Blessings,
-Andley.
ps. I was hoping that "Regular Expression" might do the trick .... but, no luck :(
