Hi !

Is there a way to start up BW8 with different INI files?

I have two INI files, one for notebook-only display, and one for notebook+monitor display ...

Yes, you can launch BibleWorks in the equvalent of many .ini files. Use the Cofiguration Manager to set them up. See BW Help chapter 50.
