Text Criticism and Barthelemy

I have long coveted but can not quite afford D. Barthelemy, Critique textuelle de l'Ancien Testament (OBO 50/1-3). Now I see used copies of his
series done for the ABS in 1979, e.g. Preliminary and Interim Report on the Hebrew Old Testament Text Project, Volume 4: Prophetical Books 1. Does anybody know if the ABS series is the same as the later French (or not)?
