US Keyboard being activated

I'm a new user of BibleWorks 8 and so far I'm delighted. One question though. When I use BibleWorks it apparently keeps installing and making active a US keyboard layout instead of my UK layout.
I have twice gone into "Text Services and Input Languages" to make the United Kingdom keyboard the default again and actually remove the US option but it returns after using BW.
I don't know exactly when since it only becomes apparent when I type quotation marks or something else that differs on the US layout. I do suspect it's the chm format resources.
Any ideas on what's going on?

I've had the same issue with BW for years. I just take it as another instance of US-centric awareness. The program seems to assume that English is US English only. We of other dialects just have to put up with it.

Thanks for the reply. It good at least to know it's not just my machine. It's a bit of a pain with the whole "/@ reversals though
