How to update?

I am using BW 7 and have purchased BW 8.
When I try to install the 8 on the 7, asks to uninstall the 7 first.
How can I install the 8 without losing my user created databases?
Please explain how to do.

When you uninstall 7 it will NOT remove your user folders, such as your notes folder, and it will also retain a number of your other files as well.

1. Back up all of your important data.
2. Uninstall BW7.
3. Install BW8.

After you have installed 8, you will still have folders in your 7 directory.
