Dear Friends,

in BW 7 is a Query-File included (see attachment), that searches for all instances of the Granville-Sharp-Rule. But why does Eph 5,5b not appear as a result ? It reads: "EN TH BASILEIA TOU CRISTOU KAI QEOU". Isn't that a typical pattern of the GSR ?

Thank you for any help !

Hi Peter,

The query is also found in BW8, and if you look at it you'll see that it excludes PROPER names. Hence "CHRISTOU", which is tagged as a proper name, is not included.

Keep in mind that the query was built following strictly Granville Sharp's canon. So, for example, no plural substantives or proper names are included.

Hope this helps.
