I got this email from Marc Mamigonian at NAASR (National Association for Armenian Study and Research):
"Just to let you know that we got the Bedrossian dictionary from W & S and it looks very good, so thanks for cluing us in. Also, fyi, in case you are not aware, go here http://www.bibles.org.uk/ (http://www.bibles.org.uk/) as there us a new version of the Zohrab Grabar Bible as well as the Aucher/Byron grammar."

"The Bedrossian Dictionary" is M. Bedrossian, New Dictionary Armenian-English, which was reprinted in 1979 and has long been unavailable. Now Wipf & Stock of Eugene, OR has reprinted it:
New Dictionary Armenian-English
Author - Rev. Matthias Bedrossian
Retail Price: $85.00
Web Price: $68.00
ISBN 10: 1-60608-399-6
ISBN 13: 978-1-60608-399-4
Pages: 818
Binding: Paperback
The last line may be in error, since my copy is hardback. It's really quite handy to use and is a world separated from original library editions with brittle pages often rebound so that the pages split and crumble when you flip through the book. Bedrossian's dictionary is essential for the beginner in Armenian Bible studies. The Armenian Bible itself - that is Zohrab's Bible from 1805, which is the only critical edition - has been nicely and cheaply reprinted and is available at the link above, along with Dillmann's Lexicon Linguae Aethiopicae for those who don't mind using Latin definitions. For the less brave and the less strong in the hands, Wolf Leslau's Concise Dictionary of the Ge'ez is always available from Eisenbraun's. Only that doesn't have the Biblical references that Dillmann has.
