Can a search be done in BW for a phrase that is unknown?
For example: I want to search the OT for words that appear three times in a row like in Isaiah 6:3 “Holy Holy Holy” . I would like to do this in one of the Hebrew Bible versions as well.
Thank you,
David Morris

Sorry, I don't have that version installed, so I'm unable to create the GSE query.
Try entering this on the command line: '.#1 #1 #1' (less quotes).

David.

No, that did not work, I am trying to do this query in the WTT as well. The .#1 #1 #1 really did not work either in the NAS, all it found was the phrase "Lord Jesus Christ", it skipped right over Isa 6:3. Any other suggestions?

Possibly an issue with BW 6, I'd say.
.#1 #1 #1 works fine for me with WTT also: finds Isa 6:3; Jer 22:29; Ezek 21:22.
Search on NAU retreives: Isa 6:3; Jer 22:29; Rev 4:8; 8:13.

David.

David, your search query (.#1 #1 #1) worked, it must have failed the first time because I copied and pasted the search query in the command line. But when I typed it in manually in worked. (smile!!)
