Hebrew and Greek Font Printing Problem

I'm having problems printing Hebrew and Greek text in a word document. This worked fine on various printers, but when I try this a Lexmark X502n (same as C500 etc) the fonts scrunch up or the pointing gets misplaced etc. I can't find anything about this issue on here or elsewhere on the web, so if anyone has a solution I'd appreciate it.

Just in case anyone faces this problem, I discovered that it was caused by kerning (under fonts) being switched on in Microsoft Word.
