Clicking twice to close BW

This is an annoyance rather than a big problem. Why do I have to click twice to close Bibleworks? (Using XP Home SP3.)

There's a thread from April 2004 with the same problem but unresolved. It's not to do with windows 'focus' and it only happens after using BW longer than a few minutes.

I once did a windows reinstallation and this removed the problem but only for a few days, then it returned. Any ideas??!

I think this is just one you may have to live with. I've had this problem for years, and not just on BW, but also with one or two other programs from time to time.

OK, thanks Scott for replying. Nice to know there's at least one fellow-sufferer out there. :rolleyes: Actually it adds a quaint aura of anticipation during that close-down moment: will it, or won't it, on the first click?... I'd probably miss it, if it were fixed!

I also have this problem for years.
I wasn't able to find a reproducible cause.
Sometimes it happens, sometimes not.
No other program behaves like that.
Very strange.
