Trouble with saving flashcards

These last couple weeks I've tried to begin working through my Heb. and Greek vocab. I'm having a difficult time saving my progress. For some reason, the program (frustratingly!) keeps reverting to original settings. I always hit "save" before I close the flashcard module and am now hitting "save" before I close BW, but the progress is not saved. The settings and filters I apply do not stay saved either.
