The display of the paragraph marker - ¶ - was introduced in BibleWorks 7. It appears in the Browse Window, and enables one to see where paragraph divisions occur in the text. It will appear at the beginning of a new paragraph.
Since some may not want this symbol to display, it is possible to change a setting in the Options dialog box that will remove the this symbol. To change this setting, take the following steps:
1. Open the Options dialog box. (TOOLS > OPTIONS)
2. Click the tab OPTION FLAGS if it is not already the active tab.
3. Find and expand (by clicking its plus sign) the BROWSE WINDOW CONFIGURATION OPTIONS list.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the list.
5. The entry that is second from the bottom reads "Show paragraph markers." Remove the checkmark from its box.
6. Click OK to accept the change and close the Options dialog box.
