If you have any of the add-ons listed below (with all accompanying files; e.g. *.bww, *.ddf, etc.; preferably in a zipped folder) then please reply to this thread and list what you have. Reply especially if you have a way of "moving" very large files. I've also set up an email for the blog: theunofficialbibleworksblog@gmail.com. So if you can email me files, that would be the way to do it.

Thankfully, because of the the Internet Archive (archive.org (http://www.archive.org)), I was able to upload quite a few files, but there are still many files that need to be restored. Here's the list of files:

Thanks for your willingness to help Georg & SkipB! This is great.

I just set up an ftp account so that the files can be uploaded to the site automatically. So, if you have time, please do so-it will be much easier to transfer the files from the ftp site than from gmail.

You can log into ftp.oldinthenew.org (ftp://ftp.oldinthenew.org) and upload them to the /forbwblog/ directory (send me a forum email (http://www.bibleworks.com/forums/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=30) to get the username and password).

Jim,

I believe I have downloaded every file that was ever posted on your blog (it's possible I may have missed one or two, but I doubt it), so if you will email me and give me a list of what you are still missing, I can zip them up and send you the remainder.

Also, if it would be helpful, I can make a zip file of all the files I have and post them on my website for a few weeks so that they can be freely accessed.

Thanks for your offer to help. I also have just about all of the files, so if you find that you don't have one, I probably can turn it into a zip file too. Keep us posted about what you need. Before you upload the early English versions (WYC, COV, KJ6, BSP) I have prepared corrected verse map files that could be added to the zip file. What is the best way for me to get those .vmf files to you?

You can just email them to me from my website. Look under "Contact" and then choose "General Comments" -- I don't want to post my email here because of spam pick-ups.

Please also include a short text file explaining where the mapping files go so I can include that as well.

I've gotten loads of files from many of you! I'm in the process of getting everything in the correct directory. We'll be back to normal pretty soon on the blog!

Thanks a bunch!

Jim, let me know of any files you still need.

Mark, I received your files, but I'm not going to do anything with them until I hear from Jim. You might want to email him what you emailed me.

I can still make my web space available if needed, but it doesn't appear that will be necessary. In any case, let me know if I can do anything.

In any case, let me know if I can do anything....Hey Scott, I'm thinking that it may be a good idea to "mirror" things as much as possible from one website to the next. Once things are up and running I plan to burn a backup or two "just in case" (I got caught off guard on this one). Either way, I'd like to have as many copies as possible floating around on the web - the main thing is to control "versions" and "corrections" etc.

Hey Scott, I'm thinking that it may be a good idea to "mirror" things as much as possible from one website to the next...

I'd forgotten how big some of the files were, such as Codex Alexandrinus, and others.

Accordingly, I don't have enough room to mirror everything. I'll have to sift through and see what looks to be most important (subjective, I know), and most efficient for my web space, then I can set up a section mirroring SOME of the blog.

Let me know if there are any particularly important files that I should definitely display. I'm thinking some of the user bibles might be the top of the string, and then work down from there.

I totally agree. I'll make an effort to mirror all of the files over at stilltruth.com as soon as you're up and running again.

Please, are already the files on the blog? How can I reach them? I am very interested on them! Thank you very much.
