Good font with diacritics?

I need to find a font that can do Semitic transliteration, including dots and lines below the letter, e.g. d underline for dhal, etc.

I'm using Office 2007.

Any suggestions?

The font I've been using for Hebrew transliteration isn't bad - though I've had to add a couple of characters for my set-up (XP SP2; MS Word 2002).

I'm planning to create a transliteration keyboard, but have decided to wait until I upgrade to Word 7 and Vista in the next month or two.

Try the keyboards (including installation program) made by David Instone-Brewer of Tyndale House. It is available for both Windows (http://www.tyndale.cam.ac.uk/Download/TyndaleUnicodePC.zip) and Mac (http://www.tyndale.cam.ac.uk/Download/TyndaleUnicodeMac.zip).

Transliteration is quite simple: Activate the Greek keyboard and then press the Caps Lock key. For transliteration most Unicode fonts should work. Personally I like the Charis SIL font.
