9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. -- BibleWorks Essentials Workshop
1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. -- BibleWorks Intermediate Workshop

Cost:
$25 per workshop

Format:
These workshops will demonstrate the use of BibleWorks version 7 and the instructors will do all teaching in both workshops from BibleWorks 7. Much of the material in the Essentials workshop will apply to other versions of BibleWorks, however, the Intermediate Workshop will spend a considerable amount of time discussing tools unique to BibleWorks 7. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop with BibleWorks installed. Each workshop will include several short hands-on review assignments to give you an opportunity to practice what you learn. A laptop, however, is not required to attend either workshop.

Instructors:
Dr. John B. Weaver will teach the Essentials Workshop. John is the Head of Public Services and Reference Librarian at Pitts Theology Library, Emory University. A theological librarian and biblical scholar, Dr. Weaver regularly teaches workshops on the use of technologies in theological study and other religious practices.

Mark Cannon will teach the Intermediate Workshop. Mark is a technical staff specialist and directs the workshop training program for BibleWorks. He holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and has served as a pastor in northeast Ohio. Mark brings his experience as a seminary and post-graduate biblical studies student, pastor and seminary instructor to the workshops. He counts it a privilege to serve those engaged in the task of biblical exegesis and ministry through the mission of BibleWorks. He lives in Chesapeake, Virginia with his wife Robin and their two daughters.
