I am trying to find all participles followed by a prep plus suffix. My question has to do with participles: can i search for all participles at the same time including passive participles. When i use the gse i have to choose participle or passive participle. how can i find all.

thank you

To select both (active) participles and passive participles in the GSE, just hold down the ctrl key and select them both. This should result in something like the following, which you could also type: @v?{Ps}*

Hope this helps.

I had introduce the sound file by drawing upon my best Mary Catherine Gallagher imitation.

The clip was Flounder from Animal House, expressing pure joy with his line "izzzzz thisssss GREEEEEAAAAAT!?!" (I believe the misguided lad was being rhetorical.)
