View Full Version : How can I search for Greek question marks?

I've tried serching for questions in the BNM/BNT New Testament by entering a variety of search strings on the command line such as <.;> or <.*;> (without the <> of course). It doesn't find Greek question marks and I can't find anything in the online help or forums that addresses this.
Does anyone know how to search in BW for Greek question marks (;) ?

You can't use the Command Line for punctuation-based searches. Use the Graphical Search Engine, instead. Set up a Word box with an asterisk (for any term), followed by another Word box with another asterisk. Link the two boxes with an AND merge box and make it an order-specific search (i.e., proximity search), selecting the kind of punctuation you want to find. That should do it.
Haven't got time now to go into more specific details. Try it and let us know if you encounter any problems.

I think this question might have come up before: Search "Punctuation Marks" in this Forum and see what pops up.

Thanks a lot, everyone. That helped.
