Amazing, Pasquale. You are adding so much value to BibleWorks. Your work is greatly appreciated. Thanks also to Wieland Wilker for his work and for giving permission for it to be incorporated into BibleWorks this way.

I look forward to the completion of the project!

Wow! This looks fantastic! Never thought that this is possible.
Feel free to continue this project ...
I allow its inclusion on the BW CD and free distribution as far as the copyright notice and a link to the original internet site is provided.
The only problem I see is that I update the files about once a year.
Best wishes
Wieland

Pasquale and Wieland,

Thank you so much. I now, no longer, have to hunt through my files and open a separate PDF. This is much appreciated.

All right, I'll ask the dumb question.

So, what do we do with it? Is there a link explaining?

As with all HTML Help modules for BibleWorks, unzip them and put them in the BibleWorks 7\databases directory. Upon restarting BW, you will see the TCG 2007 as a new resource and links for it will appear whenever they show up in the marked text.

Thanks, Michael.

But now when I click on, say, Matthew 1:1, the WW resource gives
This program cannot display the webpage

And a bunch of blah blah blah, suggesting maybe I'm not connected to the Internet—which I am.

Did you unlock the file (in explorer go to the Bibleworks 7\databases directory, right click the file (meaning the HTML help one), select properties and make sure it is unblocked or unlocked)

Well, I'll be.

I work in IT support; never seen such a thing.

Thanks, Michael. As the kids say, U D man.

I still cannot get the TCG to show up in any menu. I can click on the help file and will open but I cannot get it to open within BW. It is probably something dumb on my part, I am prone to such things.

Michael,

Is there a reason that I can't seem to find this one on your page 'User Created BibleWorks Files (http://bibleworks.oldinthenew.org/files.html) (hosted on this site)'?

If it wasn't for this thread here I probably would have missed getting it.

Btw, thanks for all your hard work in maintaining that blog, it sure makes life easy! :)

I think because I was not sure when it would be at its final version. The other files are linked there via blog entries or the like. I can add it to the page tomorrow maybe. I try to keep things as up to date as possible, but I certainly am not perfect! :)

With the high quality of your work at the blog it is easy to get the impression that you are!

Thanks again for your labours.

I checked it and did not see a block on it.

Well, I don't know if it suddenly appeared or there is something wrong with my eyes. But the TCG is where it is supposed to be. It was probably my eyes. I have a way of missing things.

Thanks

I have not run the update, but I will will :D

I did update BW, maybe that did it.

Well don't get confused either. The files on the BibleWorks blog are not related to the updates which take place internally via the BibleWorks updater. I just meant I had updated the BibleWorks blog files page.

That I understood--that being you had nothing to do with BW update. What I meant was perhaps some change they made affected the addon. However, I believe that I missed it and it was working as it was supposed to. I am famous for overlooking the obvious.
