The latest version of BibleWorks, version 7, is such a large program that it takes 5 or 6 CDs, or a DVD, to install it, depending on the revision of the program in hand. In addition to the installation disks, there is an additional disk that contains the available add-on modules. Due to the amount of data contained on these disks, it is not possible to make it available for an Internet download. Though the installed program is maintained with files and patches downloaded from the Internet (these are typically very small files, and can be downloaded in seconds), the program itself must be installed from CDs or a DVD.
