Is it possible to alias a bible abbreviation? For example, if I wanted to use "nasb" instead of "nau" for the NASB95 version, how would I do that? I'd also like to use abbr. like UBS and NA27 instead of GNT.
1. You can use 3-letter abbreviations only.
2. You have to export the database and compile it as a new version with the new name.

Actually, in version 7 you can use more than three letters.
To do this, you would, as Wieland said, export to a database and then use the VDC to recompile the version in the name/abbreviation you want to assign to it.

yuk. Could this be a feature request? To be able to alias bible abbreviations w/o having to export/recompile?
Thanks for the responses!

It actually is really easy to do the export and recompile. It wouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
