I can't find this in the book, though perhaps I missed it.

I want to do a Hebrew word search, searching for any place where the same verb root is used with no words between. For instance, in Habakkuk 1:5, the root TMH is used twice in a row (once as a hithpael impv and once as a qal impv).

The search I figured out found (apparently) only when two verbs were together, but not when they were the same verb.

Try entering '#1 #1 on the command line.
This works for any version. If a morphology version, it finds the root (though it can't find both verbal and nominal forms from the same root.)

You can see some more on this under "root agreement and compound word forms" in the manual or on-line help.

Add an "agreement" box [A] to your ASE search; link it to your two "word" boxes [W], then double-click on it and tick on the "lemma" box under general. That should do the trick!
