Editor Windows Bugs??

While I was editing on the Editor Window on my BibleWorks
screen, the system got stuck two times and I lost the writing. I wasted more than three hours of editing.

Now the question: Is there an known bug with the Editor
Window. Or may it because of my own computer, say
because my Windows has some defects in it?
I was cut and paste Hebrew phrases onto the
Editor Screen. I am using version 6.

Should I use an independent word Processor, say
Microsoft Word rather than the BibleWorks Editor?

See this thread http://www.bibleworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=815. The biggest problem seems to be that if the problem isn't able to be recreated, they can't figure out what's wrong. BW7 will have a different editor built from scratch which will be more stable. But yeah, either use Word or save often I would say.

Yes, the BW6 text editor is buggy. It isn't Windows.

Some here will tell you to use Control-S, and I'm not sure why -- it doesn't work.

Only thing that works within BW, if you're doing notes on individual verses, is to move to the next verse and then back. That saves it.

Alternately, create your note in Notepad or Wordpad, then copy it into BW and move to another verse to save it. (If it crashes, at least your text is still on the Windows clipboard!)
