SEe end for problems to be worked out~

Someone else can check this out if they want to tighten it up. For those of you who know the Perseus links that work in BibleWorks, Perseus has upgraded to a newer format and so I think it'd be good to update the links that BW uses. The links are found in the ShellExec.txt file which is in the "init" subdirectory of BibleWorks.

I will post the changes I see necessary.

1. The first link is for "Lookup Lemma at Perseus Web Site"
Here I changed the weblink to be http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/morph.jsp?l=<dummy>&la=greek
** This gives you a link to the lemma and you should be able to choose which lexicon you want to view it from. (Note I personally have trouble viewing the Greek and making some of these links work with IE, but they work fine with FireFox.)

2. the second section "Lookup Morphology at Perseus Web Site"
Here I changed the weblink to be http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/morph.jsp?l=<dummy>&la=greek
** this should give both the morphology and link to the correct lemma so you can open dictionary entries
(but if you notice both #1 and #2 links are exactly the same. the difference is in BW. In the first one it sends the dictionary form to provide a link to the definition. In my opinion though, now it seems that #1, a link to the lemma, is obsolete, because the morphology link will do it all and do it better.)

3. and 4. in line in the ShellExec file are the same as #1 and #2 respectively above (correct??) so switch the links there too

5. Latin Morphology
Here I change to http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/morph.jsp?l=<dummy>&la=la

6. Link to Smyth
Here I change to http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/toc.jsp?doc=Perseus:text:1999.04.0007:part=1:chapt er=1:section=1

Again I've had trouble with the links working well for IE, but everything seemed to work with FireFox. If more of you could give this update of your ShellExec a try and see if it works well, that'd be cool. If it doesn't work well, I guess we have to figure out what to change, but then once we know what works BW folks could probably make these changes available in a normal update and that way people wouldnt have to play with this stuff themselves...

In my final testing for the night, I've only been using Firefox for this and every link has worked to my satisfaction, but i have run into a couple of problems.

Problem #1. Any word with a circumflex does not link to the morphology search because the formatting that BW is sending is not the formatting that Perseus wants. If anyone knows the solution to this one, that'd be awesome.

Problem #2 Obviously Perseus' morphology machine as smart as it is does not recognize every single word possible. Not sure there's a solution to this one, but just thought you should be aware.
